Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi

Its time to play at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, one of the best theme parks in the city! Located on Yas Island, just 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi city, this waterpark has 60 (20 new additions!) rides, slides, and experiences spread across an area as big as 15 football pitches - designed to keep you entertained for the whole day!

The new additions introduce a Lost City theme, which continues the park's original story, 'The Legend of the Lost Pearl', which follows the story of a young local girl on a quest to find a legendary pearl, keeping it close to Emirati heritage. For those wondering, the pearl does exist, and you can spot it at the top of Jebel Dhana, the park’s towering centrepiece.

The 20 new attractions, rides, and experiences include the Al Falaj Race and Bahamut's Rage - so, get ready to dive into the mayhem! Al Falaj Race is the region’s first side-by-side duelling tube raft race. Seek out Bahamut's Rage for exhilarating drops on its high-thrill log flume. For interactive water fun, Bandit's Playground in the new Bandit's Village offers surprises for all ages.

If you're looking to indulge in a little shopping, this is the place for you. Set on Yas Island, Yas Mall is Abu Dhabi's biggest, and the UAE's second-largest, shopping centre. The light-drenched three-level mall offers an impressive array of stores, including international retailers and eateries, and a 20-screen cinema operated by VOX Cinemas.

Wander spacious avenues and explore more than 370 stores and around 60 indoor and outdoor restaurants and cafés. If the kids need to let off some steam, you'll be glad to know there's a family entertainment zone by Fun Works, as well as a direct link to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world's first Ferrari-branded theme park.

KidZania, an award-winning children's edutainment concept, is also located on the ground floor of Yas Mall. An impressive and interactive mini-city, this vibrant spot combines playful activities with education, using an innovative approach to make learning fun.

The venue boasts a 55,000-square-foot scaled replica of a real city and is packed with over 40 role-playing activities for children and teenagers aged 4 to 16, encouraging them to learn about working, jobs, money and the real world, all while developing true-to-life skills that simply can't be learned in the classroom.

Yas Mall boasts the capital's only Apple store, Tryano, a luxury department store from Chalhoub Group that offers an impressive range of shoes, bags and children's clothing, as well as some of the region's largest stores from popular brands including Zara, Nike, Adidas and more.
