就连它的建造过程也是一场名副其实的文化合作。这座恢宏建筑的设计和建造由来自世界各地的能工巧匠协力完成，1300名女性工匠手工编织了主祈祷大厅的地毯，这也是世界上最大的地毯。
穿过大理石铺镶的大厅时，一样样举世无双的珍宝纷纷呈现眼前：镀金施华洛士奇水晶吊灯、庭院中的巨型大理石马赛克艺术品以及倒映着许多镶嵌紫晶和碧玉立柱的倒影池。来到室外，四座高达106米的清真寺宣礼塔傲然屹立、供人瞻仰。
